Heart in Heart

by Indian Comma Bean   Sep 22, 2007

Walking down the road
straight through the park,
we walk hand in hand,
we walk heart in heart.

Love's sweet embrace
twisting around our figures,
gently caressing our
soft warm features.

The summer breeze
blowing through your hair,
I can't seem to take my
eyes away from your sweet stare.

Your lips seemed to talk,
your eyes seemed to smile,
emerald green so bright it
took away my sight.

You never regretted
a missed opportunity,
you never seemed to cry
when deemed unnecessary.

You understood me
like none that had before,
you always seemed to listen,
when I never spoke a word.

Your uplifting attitude,
was almost like an ecstasy,
you never had been sad
whenever you were next to me.

The birds seemed to sing
as they soared above our heads,
and the trees seemed to whisper,
forever you'll be together.

Walking down the road
straight through the park,
we walk hand in hand,
we walk heart in heart.
