River of Tears

by HollywoodSmile   Sep 22, 2007

Kneeling on the ground
beside the creek she knows so well
her life, once so easy
is now a living, burning hell
her tears fall to the water

shes is the disappointment of a daughter
the child locked up tight in therapy
a path of death follows behind her
as far as the eye can see

she buried her face in her hands
wishing it didnt have to change
wondering, why couldnt it have stayed the same?
she wanted so much to go back
back to the way it used to be.

shes all alone agian
with no place she can really call home
she doesnt feel loved or wanted
all she can feel, is all alone

no one seems to care
she feels as though shes not even there
her whole world has become surreal
there is nothing left to feel

(with a little help from a friend, who always seemed so near, thank you Zacksmith)
