This poem was quite sweet and beautiful. It was truely heart warming and showed beautiful emotions which you portrayed in depth into this piece. From the start you had me hooked and kept me right into until the very end. Such an elegant piece. Well done on creating this. A great read. ~Mel

    Andrew,
This sounds like a lyrics to a country song! That's what I felt when I read this. This is absolutely amazing, wonderfully written in every way!
OH MY GOSH!! Where to begin showing my favourite lines... probably the last 4 lines of the chorus...

the only mistake i ever made
showing my heart in the masquerade
you stare at me without a clue
i guess you thought i knew

I love how the imagery just pours out. I seriously can just picture being at a ball, being the girl you're in love with... and seeing you standing out in the crowd, holding your heart in your hands towards me, while everyone else attending is in costume... It gave me the chills..
And the last two lines... WOW... You stare at me without a clue/I guess you thought I knew..
Your girl's in bewilderment, and I know I can say I've been there.. cuz I have. It's like, finally, out of nowhere one time, guys have these "visions", so to say. And it happened to me just last night actually. My guy told me a bunch of things, and I was like... "WHAT?! You only figured it out now, how much I am in love wiht you?!?!"
Ya.. I guess you can say this poem it really hard home for me.. thanks so much for writing it Andrew.
