Poison

by Dan Doyle   Sep 22, 2007

Like a misty winter fog, poison
Breath in deep
The noxious fumes of the past
Sanity, try to keep

As it overflows into my body
Poisonous beast
My flesh, my bones, my mind
Such a greedy feast

For when I try to clear my body
Everything, a green hue
The only thing that can now save me
Is the thought of you
