Dedicated to You.

by Arun Khan   Sep 23, 2007

I sit alone, in deep thoughts,
Amused over how our love now rots
I contemplate as I light the cigarette,
There are so many signs I didn't get.
A slow breath with smoke fills me,
I wonder if this how it's meant to be,
It hurts inside,
Really in my heart,
Then for a moment time gets caught
And I'm blind,
Away from my misery,
A calm moment of tranquility
Thinking hard,
Of what cruel Cupid to me.
To walk without legs, to fight without fists,
Speak without a voice, scream without a choice.
I breathe the poison come out.
And right here I'm asking god,
Is this what it's all about?
I somehow stand alone,
Pain shows us how much we've grown.
Even then could I
walk without legs, and fight without fists.
You'll never see me anymore, feel how we once kissed.
That diamond facade starts to crack,
My souls turns to me and says,
The world is never brighter than when it's black.

**Dedicated to my X**
