A Tribute To Teacher

by Bhavin   Sep 23, 2007

I stayed in my mother's womb
I came on earth and knew nothing
My parents taught me many lessons
But I felt I was missing something.

I roamed around in confusion
To quench my thirst for knowledge
With many questions in my mind
To ask them I had no courage.

Suddenly you came in my life
And you became my guiding light
From a not so clever child
You made me intelligent and bright.

With your help I touched success
And we became a successful team
With a caring teacher like you
I could make true any dream.

I wish I could repay those debts
For what you did to me as a preacher
In your honour I write this poem
To show your greatness, O Teacher!
