The spirit of romance

Lying with you under the stars, the sound of my heartbeat is the only sound,
Not a single thing in the world could compare with this love I have found,
As you touch my face, a tingling rushes through my spine leaving me weak,
There’s a satisfying feeling inside my soul that leaves me unable to speak.

Dining with you in a little restaurant, music feels the air with a melody so sweet,
I think back to all I have lost and gained, and suddenly I feel complete,
I have been given a chance to love and I have grasped it with all of my heart,
And there is nothing in the world that could tear what we have apart.

This is the spirit of romance that will walk with us through our times together
It is the spirit that means so much and I believe that this time it means forever,
You are the light in my darkest days, the flame inside my once empty soul,
You are the man of my dreams and the one person who makes me eternally whole.
