Dark Wings Flutter

Dark wings flutter
The sound of bells
The light from the water
Invades my dreams

The brown grass crumbles
The dead petals fall
The mud grows thick
As I walk forward

The sky is dark
The flowers die
The faeries fall
And I am alone

Standing on the edge
The sound of bells
Dark wings flutter
I hold out my hand

Dark wings flutter
The light from the water
The wind blows
A dark butterfly lands

Wings of glass
Eyes of gold
Sounds of bells
A dark faerie

Singing softly
Bells rings
Wings fold
Death flies

Dark wings flutter
The sound of bells
The life from the spring
Invades my dreams

Dark wings flutter
The brown grass crumbles
The sky is dark
Standing on the edge
Dark wings flutter
Wings of glass
Singing softly
Dark wings flutter
