A Beggers Dream

by Your Best Mistake Your Perfect Failure   Sep 24, 2007

The pain of one action
or lack thereof.. can cause the most surefooted to lose traction

The pieces on trashed heart
Torn from the start
All apart..

Now self mended with the rolls of ductape
Yet, you don't have the courage to look me in the face
And tell me you love me.. as if I'm your own personal Disgrace...
Well, if that's the case.. I'll leave this place..

I shall start this journey:arduous
Yet, I'll be the one constantly displaced..
Go ahead.. spit in my face..
That one last time
I swear.. I will one day shine..

With or without
I guarantee that you wont make it through this drought
I am the one stuck on that idea: devout
Maybe for your dying breath, I'll breathe the air into your mouth..

All of the unsolved problems
Seems like skating on marbles..
Stepping out of the hell hole.. just to marvel
at my own suffering..

No matter how much I don't trust the outside world
My own problems are impearled.
Right there.. in my stone cold heart.
Never will you be able to rip it apart..
It's too shattered..

Once healed by her touch..
Now I crave it all too much
I need her..
I'll die without this cliche
I am the one made of paper mache
Not stone. God.. Don't ever leave me alone..
I beg of you. This final time..
I need you to shine.

Your own travesty.
