Very good dark poem, with greatly created atmosphere. You did good job with rhymes, too.
I like the choice of words through the whole piece.
My favorite lines are:

-There's a secret held within,
a story that begins, ends in sin.
ghosts of the past, held in her dreams,
no one hears the unyelled screams.-

Sometimes its best for others not to know the things that haunt us....but is always a hard burden to bare. I can't say I fully understand (I'm not you) but I know what its like.
