Dividing Lines

by Casey Lynn   Sep 24, 2007

12 thousand
6 hundred
32 dividing lines

Between me and you

Out on a ledge
Never been here before
Waiting on you
Just to open the door

One night stands never work out very well
feelings involved shatter after they swell

Yet here you are still wrapped up in my mind
Shake me loose out of this hypnotic bind

Cause there are 12 thousand
6 hundred 32 dividing lines
painted between me and you

Lost in thought of the gamble of tomorrow
And the phone call that probably wont show

Out of my league, floundering and wishing
Driving miles as I'm sitting here counting.

Cause there are 12 thousand
6 hundred 32 dividing lines
painted between me and you

I'm out on a ledge
Never been here before
Waiting on you
Just to open the door
