Nightmare

by Stephanie Mutton   Sep 24, 2007

Daddy please don't leave
it will ruin everything
she grabs his hand and pleads
shes begging
on her knees,
sobbing
screaming
losing control
her deep blue eyes filled with tears
and sorrow
he was supposed to get rid of her fears
but he shakes her off
without a glance
mommy didn't mean it daddy
DADDY PLEASE
the front door slams in her face
the sadness overwhelms her
the sadness turns to pain ,
pain that numbs her to the core
she opens the door and runs through the rain
her hearts been tore
her worlds been turned upside down
she slips away and runs
without a sound
farther and farther
the tears are blinding her
a car horn, tires squealing
metal crunching, people screaming
the screams from witnesses
echo the night
a mangled body can be seen
the rest is history
the girl is out of her misery
