Her Suffering Heart

by RobinAnn13   Sep 24, 2007

She sits in the darkness of the night
and watches her injured prey
The smell of fresh blood in the air
her only reason to stay

She studies his intense movement
as he tightly binds his wound
in the pure white tourniquet
She'll reveal herself to him soon

Her amber eyes dilate
when he slowly turns around
and with the gracefullness of a cat
she strikes without a sound

Her heart is suffering
when he starts to bleed
'I've taken another life', she thought
then she began to feed

Wow this poem is really cool. Kind of animalistic except you're describing a human. Kind of like crocodile dundee trying to describe a human, except way better of course!

    Great Imagination.
