As the loneliness crept in,
She remembered what it felt like to be loved
And she remembered what it felt like to be pure

As the emptiness sunk in,
She picked up her best friend,
The one that never left her, and she won't leave it anymore.

As the memories flooded in,
The blade sunk into her skin, ripping and tearing a familiar feel
One she knew she couldn't avoid

As the darkness poured in,
She knew this would be her fate,
she kept up the act long enough

As the paramedics rushed in,
They shook their heads and made their judgments.
Her hand clasped cold and dead around the razor.
