REBORN

I've paid my dues
with pain and blood,
I pray every night
To God above.

I used to know
right from wrong,
I used to be
so sure and strong.

I've done my time
with guilt and despair,
I worry about my future
and I try to care.

I only want a piece of heaven,
a little contentment and peace,
I only want to
to find some release.

then I found in you everything
my heart and head always believed
and in our passion, for the first time
my love and life has been truly conceived.

Now all is new
