Time To Say Goodbye

I'm just sitting here
Thinking about you
However not quite
Like I used to,

It's been so long
The memories are fading
But never will
They be gone

I will always remember you
And even though we are now apart
You will always
Have a place in my heart

Time is moving on
And so is my sadness
From the first
Time you were gone

And I still miss you
Although, it is much easier now
I learnt to cope
Not quite sure how

Now it is time
To say goodbye
Although, I don't want to
I need to try

It is not forever
As I hope that we
Will meet again
But for now
I will just wait, until then.
