I love this poem, you wrote it excellently, it is filled with some warmth of those memories. You did very good job with rhymes, too. The descriptions in the whole poem are also great.
    My favorite stanza is:

-She told me make believe stories
that were made up in her head
    all of them always happy
no one ever ended up dead.-

    Keep up :)
    5/5 from me

This piece really grabbed me!! Brought back memories of my grandmother and the secrets that she would share with me. If only now was as simple as back then...this piece just rocked from beginning to end!!

Wow this is a remarkable tale...very thought provoking. It flowed very nicely and I must say I was 100% engrossed in your poetic story from the first word to the last...I believe your title choice was perfect too. excellent job on this one. oh by the way you country boy "Things that my grandmother done" should be Things that my grandmother did. all in all good work 5/5

I love poems that have a story that is obviously personal to the writer and the reader is left wanting to understand it more.

i became hooked on your words, your imagery and emotion is fantastic. there was a kind of innocence to this poem that i loved.

    great work.
