Australia

by DeeEmm   Sep 25, 2007

I love my country dearly,
I celebrate it yearly.
I love the blokes down here,
As well as the sheilas and the beer.
I love the wildlife too,
Crocodiles and Kangaroos.
And the way that we speak,
Always talking tongue-in-cheek.
Our summers are always great,
No matter which of the states.
Where words are created,
Even if you know, let me reiterate it.
Bloody oath, which means 'how true',
And a fights are known as a 'blue'.
Snakes and Spiders roam around,
On the roof and on the ground.
But we don't stress at all,
Even though they're far from small.
Coz it's all we've ever known,
Coz Australia is our home.
I'm pretty sure all Aussies love it,
Wouldn't put anything above it.
This country, to me...
Mate, it's the place to be.
