Family Portrait.

Family Portrait.

Soulful drawings with a heart,
is it possible this thing is art?
I see the boys - - beaten and bruised.
I see the girls - - eyes of sexual abuse.
I see the parents - - happy as can be.
I see a horrific portrait of a family.

With moments - - many the very best,
they lie their brother down to rest.
With smiles of joy, hopeful tears cried,
- - there's the sister, oh suicide.
Second brother, solid, rock hard abs,
and bloody wounds from 'heartfelt' stabs.
She killed both brothers, followed by her,
and, the last siblings mental health is such a blur.

While I'm still living, I take them down
watch them clutch soil, while upon the ground.
Pain, oh how feeble you truly are,
look at each death, each scar.

With a marking of love I take another portrait of my family,
can't you see - - all that's left is happy ole me.
No more, no more, no more pain.
But, just like them I've gone insane.

So sad, however this strikes an idea perhaps some level of insanity is bliss.
