My Silent Foe

by crazyXCrunner   Sep 25, 2007

Nothing left,
Nowhere to go.
I turn around,
And see my foe.

I've been running from it night and day,
I try to summon energy from my core.
But I am feeling so very tired,
I just can't run anymore.

I tried to hide it,
My inner fear.
But everyone saw,
My silent tear.

As I look into the mirror,
I see a cold blank face.
It just looks like my soul,
Took off into outer space.

It was fear of myself,
That drove me insane.
I look at my reflection,
And all I see is pain.
