Just Another Girl

by Jada   Sep 25, 2007

She's just another girl,
With Chucks and hair over her eyes.
All her wristbands and bracelets,
Look like an emo disguise.

She's just another girl,
With thick black eyeliner and shiny black nails.
The prominence of her bones,
Tell of her anorexic tales.

She's just another girl,
Shy and insecure.
Sometimes she wonders if suicide,
Is the one true cure.

She's just another girl,
Who sits in the corner and never says a word.
What good would it do anyways?
She knows her voice would never be heard.

I wish that I could help her out somehow,
Lift her up and tell her to give hope a whirl.
But honestly, what could I say?
After all, I'm just another girl.
