Absence

by Christina Yap   Sep 26, 2007

His picture's in my locket
His CD's what I hear
His ring's on my left hand
But he isn't here

Confusion has my heart
Seeped into my veins
Conquered steady thoughts
To enter my brain

Question marks now lingers
At the end of what used to be
Solid, secure plans
Made by him and me

For another is here
Offering a heart of gold
Where I can easily reach
To take, keep, and hold

If I took it
Would I break it?
If I left it
Would I regret it?

Confusion has me thinking
Of my situation
My comparing and contrasting
Led to this conclusion

His picture's on my mind
His voice is in my ear
His heart is in my hand
And he's the one that's here

Well I can relate to this poem :( anyway I think the flow was smooth, well done. I have one suggestion though.. try to use more punctuations. =)
