New Transition

by Blackpoe   Sep 26, 2007

As I venture off to new lands and new mysteries,

I glance back for a moment to remind myself of the things I once enjoyed and overcame,

for the home I knew is no longer mine.

Through the act of desperation,

past distress tries to rid me of future delight as I enter a new renaissance of knowledge and freedom; College!

With new places, there's unknown wisdom to gain,

With new faces, there's lovable memories to obtain.

As I walk amongst this place,

I disregard all fears,

for my life is no longer based on hunches and luck,

but it relies on the complexity of my faith.

Opportunities comes once in a life time,

and it's time for me to embrace mine,

for the world waits for no man; only statistics!!

I stand on my two feet as a symbol of confidence

because my life holds truth and fortune, instead of the misery of unfulfilled desires!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
