Lost Sunrise

by Blackpoe   Sep 26, 2007

Day in and Day out, I dream and await my grand surprise,

That will sign off the final chapter of my demise.

For months, my tears on the inside dwells on the return of my past,

Only to end the betrayal of my pride and to re-open my life to the things that was once present: my inspiration and self-respect!

As my eyes glare against the light from the one who holds all glory,

The moisture from which I deny all exposure, rains as he looks upon me with disgrace,

Due to the fact I disregarded his blessings and refused to give "him" praise.

Along with his exit, the significant beauty of the sun sets,

Leaving me in the position in which I still remain; in darkness

As I retire to the softness of my bed, and give relief to the puffiness of my eyes,

My heart slowly clapses as I'm cursed of being the bred of the lost sunrise!!!
