Remembering

by Tracy D Rollings   Sep 26, 2007

I walk the fields were we use to play
the trees that were there are all gone
nothing more left of the old barn
memories of laying by the tree alone
looking up at the clouds as the roll by
brings a joyful tear to my eye
watching the tops of the weeds and grass
dancing in the wind as it blew
reflecting visions of a wonderful pass
graceful moments I once knew
things that make you want to smile
only those you pictures in your mind
funny little things you did as a child
will forever be framed in time..©2007 Tracydr42

Nice poem, I too like to write about things that evryone can relate to and "remebering" is one of those things. Very nice treatment of something we can all relate to.
