Tried to write a little song
to make you happy
when you go wishing upon a pretty star
hoping that you're come home tonight
The star's shine brightly
as I sit here, waiting
for something that will never come
living on air and star's alone
hoping my wish will come true
It's not always easy to wait
through the wind and snow and rain
angels pass me by the train
white feathers upon my face
The star's are leaving the sky
waiting till the last glint
knowing through well you won't come home
but I'll wait forever baby
till the star shine goes away
