A Legend

by Jose   Sep 26, 2007

A lifetime in a mere second,
A body weakened in haste,
A tearful eye watching on,
Coming to an end he now tastes.
A loving heart put to rest,
A hard worked hand now new,
A glorious spirit lifted high,
His words forever I love you.
A family left asking why?
Hear the words they will say,
Can I pass thy heavenly gates?
Stubby of course yes you may.
Cast your minds away from pain,
Let you thoughts be of none,
But for the battles he fought,
And remember this - he won
