I will not be a shadow,
not today, not tommorrow.
I will not be in the dark,
or pushed out of the light.
I've been a shadow all my life,
But now, not anymore.
Now,
Nobody knows me, nobody
knows of what I am capable of.
I can be anyone, anything!
But,
I won't be a shadow.
A shadow is nothing,
and stays behind others.
In the dark they remain,
hiding from the light.
I'm tired of being a shadow,
So I'll be something new.
I'll be the light, I'll be the ray,
But a shadow? Never, not today.
A shadow does the work,
that's all behind the scene,
and will never come in contact with the light.
If all shadows were exposed to the light,
The world could be better,
the world could be worse...
But there would be no shadows....
And that would be better....
