Railroad Tracks From Long Ago

by Mollie   May 3, 2004

There railroad tracks from long ago,
Modern cars pass on the road,
plains fly over it up ahead,
all of there we use instead,

a sword with meaning on your wall,
replaced be a shotgun in the hall,
violence each day nothing new,
this is what the worlds coming to,

millions of acres of untouched woods,
turns to skyscrapers, houses, and roads,
at the end of your driveway once a tree,
they cut it down so people could see,

the world is changing so rapidly fast,
things of the past just won't last,
so lets slow our time down,
before there’s not enough to go around.
