Writers block

Writers block, oh writers block
What to say to thee
I want to write a poem now
To set my feelings free

I want to write what I feel today
In words that the world will get
But every time I try to write
You rear your ugly head

When I don't need to write, you inspire me
And I can write for days at a time
But when my life is down, and spirit frail
I can't even come up with a rhyme

I can write small things
Maybe little quotes
But not all the time
It gets stuck in my throat

So this will be the end
Of this poem for my rant
So au revoir, good-bye
Who will say I can't
