Silent Injustice

by DeathsRage   Sep 27, 2007

Like a flame
who does not choose who it burns
..or what...
consuming all but the ashes
the remains
of what fueled it in the beginning
regrets and lost punishments
pain and forgotten hatred

Like a god
whether it be of dreams or of heart
the fervor of my mind
creates the need to draw you close
breathe in something
so, so sweet
..and bitter in the end...
because these dreams don't do justice

Like a picture
framed around your face
to compliment every arch and angle
every mark and;;
...those eyes....
pursing lips against that wry grin
teasing, taunting, pushing me further
yet tearing against me..

Like a mirror
and I see loneliness in my face
sitting, hearing screams
against the silence
..those old memories...
I wish we could be better
to fall asleep and wake up together
without saying a word

Like myself;
Forever letting these simple;
yet vivid;
effects, of my life, slowly fade
and dreaming of a better tomorrow
without an effort to bring myself. . .
..any place...
...silently keeping injustice...

Like;
a flame,
a god,
a picture,
a mirror..
To remain in this torment
of a quiet --
lonely existence.

Definitely not one of my best, but meh. I'd appreciate a vote; even if it's low or whatever. Feedback is /highly/ appreciated.
