Trust gives people power,
Of which they always abuse,
So sick of this disappointment,
Not going to be used.

^^ I really liked this stanza because its so true. As they say you can only trust one person in the world and that is yourself. I also liked the wording because it gives the sense of standing up for yourself against people abusing your trust, it shows strength of character. Great job.

unfortunately, what you are saying is the truth...but am sure not all of them like this...there must be faithful people and there must be people like YOU who has been into this...if you run away from people they will keep following you especailly the bad ones but if you faced them and searched for the good you will find them one day and am sure about it

No person can be trusted,
They'll take what they need,
Then throw you away,
Wrapped up in their own greed.

The ones you trust the most,
Will leave you lying on the floor,
Your heart bleeding out,
And they're walking out the door.

^^ These two stanzas are my favorite. You have talent! A very welcomed talent that fits you so well. I enjoyed this poem very much.
