Not Safe

I have so much I wish I could say,
so many thoughts running through my mind.
My only release is closed now,
cause nothing is safe.
I'll type up poems,
and be forced to take them down.
I'll scrawl some words in my notebook,
and be forced to take them out,
in fear,
well maybe thats not the right word...
in caution that you'll read it,
and get pissed.
A burden I don't know if I care enough about,
to fight for.
All my words will be used against me,
it'll be an uphill battle,
because I know things I can't disclose,
so I'll listen in silence,
knowing exactly what I'd like to say,
screaming it in my head..
but I promised I wouldn't tell...
I guess I'm the only one nowadays,
that can keep those.
This is what life really is,
secrets and uncertainty,
guess I only have to live with myself right?
