Perfect love gone wrong

Late night boat rides
and moon lite walks
in you each other we'd confide
and long love talks

hugs and kisses all day and night
a love only some people get the chance to know
always holding each other tight
and never wanting to let go

staring deep into each others eyes
experiencing what life was made of
promising never to say good-bye
and that forever we'd be in love

it all started by just one kiss
it made my heart hit the floor
for i had never felt a love like this

all was great until that day
when she came back into the picture
i didn't know what to say
to keep you in my future

and so she got you
and you left me here
not knowing what to do
for losing you was always my biggest fear

tears start rolling down my face

i felt so small in this place

even though i wanted us too
i cant make you stay
so I'll deal with the fact that we are through
