Lost In The Ocean

I believe I lost my love, the love
who was always there.
The one who was always on my
mind, and the one who answered
my prayers.

Its like she was a pebble that I
threw into the ocean.
When you left my hand, I threw
away my love, I threw away my
devotion.

Now I'm here alone listening to
the waves.
Watching the sun leave the sky,
into its watery grave.

Feeling the warmth of the sun
slowly turn cold.
Realizing that its mirroring my
emotions as they unfold.
