Beautiful poem, takes me back home in sight and sound.

Low throaty bellows emit an eerie sound

That was super line, they sound like Bullfrogs on steroids, Ha! Ha! and good eatin too!
Wonderful words DD, I have to plan a Vacation. Peace and Blessings

Kay what an amazing read .... so very educational as well. As with Hellon's Haiku, I have added some new words to my vocabulary today .

Wonderfully done and the imagery is superbly done!

    I'm lost for words... lol

"Listen to the cries that each of them sing
Okefenokee, "Land of the trembling earth"
Existence of necessity in each living thing
Natures beauty in death just as in birth"

This whole poem just sounded so magical.. and beautiful..

    Very well done!

So beautiful and embellished with rich undertones of nature and darkness....I love the images that are elicited when reading this feast of words and rhymes....
