Silent Murder

by Vladimir JWE   Sep 27, 2007

I walk this empty road,
One wandering creature,
My footsteps fall,
A noise without sound,
It's a silent murder,
This road sings my song,
A quiet failure.

I watch others shout,
A roaring silence,
Words without substance,
Movements without purpose,
Life without meaning.

An endless march,
I pass by this life,
A hollow specter,
A lost soul,
On this long,
Empty road.

My song plays out,
An empty echo,
From an empty life,
Sound,
The only one heard.

Listen,
It comes to a close,
Watch my fire burn out,
Blinded by the cold,
Waiting on a final word,
My heart already knows.

Eyes without sight,
Mind without thought,
A muted voice,
A forced silence,
A quiet failure,
A silent murder...
