Golden Days

by Vladimir JWE   Sep 27, 2007

We all remember those days,
These secret mem'ries we keep,
Shed tears for golden plays,
For these lost times we weep,
The world was naught but a wonder,
A land filled with a beauty so deep,
Not yet torn asunder.

Life so filled with glory,
In every step
A story.

Colors and lights so bright!
No such thing as fright,
In every game a delight,
From a time now
Out of sight.

Minds so young and fun,
Always have to run,
Never one to shun,
For life has just begun!

Love for one and all,
Held in a heart so small!
Free from greed or hate,
That is one less weight,

Times half-remembered,
So peaceful it's almost
Absurd.

These are the mem'ries we keep,
And it is for them
We weep.
