Was confused. "are you sure it's the same girl? She was expecting me." the man shook his head and described her for me. It was her. "she's stayin with me. I dunno why she left but she got a phone call then ran out the door in tears." this can't be happening I thought. "how long ago? Do you know where she was heading? How can I find her?" I pleaded with the man. He shrugged his shoulders and walked past me unlocking the door "beats me. A word of advice? Stay away from that one. She's been hurt too many times. Got too many issues you know what I'm saying?" he walked thru the door and let it slam shut behind him. I glared at him thru the glass in the door as he walked up the stairs. who the hell did he think he was. I ran to my car and jumped in. I sat behind the wheel staring into the vast city before me thinking. Where would she go? Where do I start? I leaned forward propping my head on the steering wheel.
