Lesson Learned

by Pamela   May 3, 2004

Fond memories keep you near
Even if your voice I do not hear
I know your with me, I know your close
Even if in spirit or possibly a ghost

A shrine for you I have built
Admitedly I have much guilt
Work and bills are my crime
Oh how I wish I had made the time

A lesson in your passing I have learned
Don’t take life for granted, your sure to get burned
So now in this time and this place
All that remains is fond memories and the picture of your face

As always this is dedicated to my Pop(grandfather)
