Sitting on the Sidelines

by Rachel   Sep 29, 2007

That afternoon we talked about life,
And what it's like to be alive.
All the happiness & sadness that makes us who we are.
You said that it's not the end of the world,
And that your door will always be open,
And for that I thank you.
Your words hit me hard,
And go straight to me heart.
I remember every word you say,
I will never forget you,
Because those afternoons never meant so much.
Sitting on the sidelines,
Just being with each other,
And talking about life.
