Lord God, I gave her all she asked of
and even a little more
I treated her like the princess she is
and followed Your words
I prayed for her each and every night
for You to keep her safe
I closed my eyes and took a step of faith
relying on Your strength
I told her how much she meant to me
with poems that I wrote
and then she broke my heart with a
were not even friends
it killed me when i heard her say that
its a wound that has not healed
her face is all I see whenever I close my eyes
the hurt is there but love is too
so God I ask of you to please
make this all just go away.
