Shoddy mist

by SeGrAdA   Sep 29, 2007

Hesitated, I stand there,
wondering, if giving in to my sorrows
would be fair.
Step by step, in falter I walk in,
trying to forget my ruthless sin.

As cravenness spilled through my veins,
a vowing air passes me by so soft,
yet so grim.

This ain't an illusion in my torn dreams,
that's why I fail to stop the fall of
my absurd tears.

In midst of this shoddy mist, I pondered their portrait.
"Left, so soon, so young", a blatant mother claimed.
A wise father kneeled down to pray,
a loved departed, an angel praised dead.

Watching the fallacy, insanity
& I crawling down there,
in this merciless darkness we belong,
sound fair.

By dawn, inviting chants came out loud,
the portal of death opened wide,
my hostile soul rushed perpetuity, proud.
