A final word before I leave

by Han Nan   Sep 29, 2007

I'll take my bow; I'll take the applause
I'll take the flowers that come at the end
I may even weep with heart felt pain
But I hope to see you once again

Friends and faces that remain in memory
With the happy times we shared
Please do not cry cause we will be in touch
One day, eventually, if not tomorrow

Now on this day I'll take my leave
To all of those who taught me
I say one final word

To all those who shared the joyous times with me
And got me though my hardships
I say a final word to you

The simplest words are ones everyone knows
So to you my friends I say farewell.
To my teachers, the ones who taught me
I say I thank you, I am eternally grateful!
