Wake up living a lie

Sigh step on the scale
The numbers telling you youve failed
Put on your clothes and brush your hair
Pretend you dont care
Go to school act like its okay
Dont hear the things they say
Give it every thing you have
Turn away from their cruel laughs
Come home again and go to bed
Cry just to clear your head
Look in the mirror what do you see
An empty soul silently bleeds
Wipe off your dripping eyeliner
See the happy girl cant find her
Go do your homework then crash again
Knowing still you cannot win
Skip dinner go upstairs
No one even seems to care
Smile tell them its okay
Starving all though the day
Fall on your bed go to sleep
Stain your pillow as you weep
Dream of being beautiful and thin
Then wake up to death and sin
Brush your hair and fix your eyes
The scale again hurts your pride
Turn away get dressed fake a smile
You poor dirty broken child
Go through another day
Faking that its okay
Starve again losing pounds
Go home grab some pills
As your heart begs to kill
Grab the alcohol and lay down
Till you can no longer hear a sound
Shut your eyes itll be over soon
