Difficulties in Sleep

by Rey   Sep 30, 2007

Another night passes and I lay awake contemplating whether my love is real or but another fake. I toss and turn remembering past relationships that caused my utter heartbreak. I roll to my left, I roll to my right, these confusing and insecure thoughts are sure hard to fight.

One has a smile that does nothing but beguile, while the other has astonishing eyes, one look and your heart is enlightned, like a summer night peppered with fireflies.

I begin to feel drowsy and look at the clock, it reads 12:30. The furrow in my brow starts to decrease as my labyrinth of difficult contemplation finally commences to cease. My eyes fall shut in sleep.

The last image I see, is of whose heart will be mine to keep.

Great poem. I really liked it. You used a lot of complicated words lol. But thats the good part because most people use the same words that i see in every poem. Keep up the good work. and plz comment some of my poems if u have time: they were meant to be part 1&2
