How are you suppose to forgive and forget
people tell me to let it go
how the hell do you know

I'm not going to forget what i gave to you
but i will forgive you
ill let you go
to hold on to you is the worst thing I'm told

i understand now
that to forgive is not to forget
because i know i have to move on
i don't cry at night hoping you take me back
i just think about all the things that we did
and things that would have done

I'm telling you know that i forgive you for all the things you have done
but i will not forget the love that once was
your always on my mind even more then before
but its OK i don't cry anymore

i would have liked you to be there to brake my fall
the funny things is your the one that i wanted to call
your were my best friend
and that i have lost
but i still forgive you for the pain you have caused

trying to understand whats going on in your head
your not the same person as before
out of all the things that we shared
the one thing i promised was that ill always be there

no matter what happens you can always call on me

i don't think you understand how much i started to care
but I'm telling you now i forgive you for what was there

i have no hard feeling toward's you and yours
your the one person ill keep in my mind
not because I'm sad its because i still care
