Homesick... finally

Finally I'm homesick
after hiding it so long
I kept it locked all in my heart
and listened to happy songs

I left it all behind
my love, my house, my town
I left it all so far away
and kept away the frowns

But now it's catching up to me
I'm finally missing it all
it pulls at my heart each day and night
and it not only sinks but falls

I love it here but I miss it there
and I wish i could bring them together
to form my perfect paradise
where we would live forever
