The Color of Love

by Pete   Sep 30, 2007

Its colors that make you,
So bright, So bold.
That's why I love you,
My colors you hold.

Cheeks rosy and red,
So pure, So real.
Your face in my head,
My heart that you steal.

Eyes like a sunset,
So calm, So mellow.
Intensified reds,
With orange and yellow.

Hair the color of autumn,
So soft, So flowing.
Brown tipped with auburn,
Your best colors are showing.

Lips made for my kiss,
So supple, So pink.
With colors like this,
It's hard just to think.

Share my heart and mind?
I will, I do!
I live for the times,
That your colors shine through.

    This is so sweet.
I loved the imagery you portrayed in this piece.
The flow was perfect throughout and I loved the last stanza, it was beautifully wrapped up.

    How sweet! Corny... but sweet!

I found it so cute, right from the beginning to the very last line!

Aww...that's adorable. I mean, someone else could have made that really cheesy, but you didn't. You gave it a touch of something special and it just made the piece so sweet and loving. I especially enjoyed the last stanza.
