Trapped in my cold dark world
demons eating away at my flesh
my bones are weak
i haven't eaten in years
i keep walking through the darkness
the coldness biting at my face
i shield my face with my arms
my arms feel warm
with confusion i look
i see a window
it blends into my world
theres a crack
like curtains
light peeking through
i open them
the light bursts in
heals all my wounds
the light warms my body
figments of you come back to me
i remember your face once again
your precious light fills the room
everything has color
color that i haven't seen before
i see a bright angel coming towards me
i look hard and you appear
you came to save me
all the demons rush off
nothing matters anymore but you
you pick me up
your wings fly out
we start to float up softly
your body so warm
your skin so soft
i look at your face
and smile in return
i look down from which i stood
its like a spotlight
we float higher and higher softly so gracefully
a tear streams own my face
you wipe my cheek gently
i look back at your face
it disappears
you warmth disappears
your light disappears
i start to fall back to earth
i fall hard back into my world
the demons come back
the only warmth i feel now
is the hot tears on my face
i feel so alone knowing that you let me down
trapped with scars on my heart
that you gave me
my world crumbles down
and i fall as well
